After a certain amount of time, found items are sent to Service des Objets Trouvés de la Préfecture de Police de Paris(Lost Property department of the Paris Police Headquarters)

If you have lost an item on route between the plane and the terminal
(for example in the bus that collected/deposited you at the foot of the aircraft)
In this case, a found item is automatically handled by the airline you used.

you lost an item in the baggage reclaim area
>> If you lost checked baggage that was not returned to you
Contact the baggage enquiries department of your airline.
>> If you lost another item or non-checked baggage

The return of baggage in the baggage reclaim area is the responsibility of the airline handling that baggage

In the lounges that are not Icare lounges (airline lounges for example), a found item is automatically handled by the airline that runs the lounge.

If you lost an item in one of our airport car parks
Please contact the Aéroports de Paris "Lost Property" department.
Or go to the "Lost & Found" desk in the concerned terminal :
If you lost an item in public transport.
In this case, a found item is automatically handled by the transport company you used, most often by the "Lost Property" department when there is one.
To find out more, please contact your transport company directly (SNCF, RATP, Air France coaches, etc.).
If you lost an item on board the CDGVal, ORLYVal or car park shuttles, please contact the Aéroports de Paris "Lost Property" department.

If you know the taxi company you used, we recommend that you contact it directly.
For information, items found in taxis are generally sent very quickly to the Paris Police "Lost Property" department (Objets trouvés), rue des Morillons (see above).
