Checked luggage

Below is a partial list of items strictly forbidden in the aircraft, even in checked luggage :
- explosives, ammunition, flammable liquids and corrosive products (e.g. gas, fuel, …)
- neutralizing or incapacitating agents (e.g. acids, self-defense devices projecting irritant, stinging or tear gas, radioactive material, poison…)

Weight limits

Inquire from your airline the maximum weight for checked luggage. Caution: the weight may vary between airlines; be careful if you are taking connecting flights.
