You are a "Human Resources Manager". What does your job involve?
I am the Human Resources Manager for the Engineering and Architecture Division. In every division there is a local HR manager who liaises with the Human Resources Division and is the HR advisor for his/her own director and the unit managers. In our job, we also have to carry out studies, manage the staff, adhere to the training plan and coordinate company relations with management.
What are the attractions of this job and what qualities does it require?
The general nature and variety of the post both on an individual and collective scale makes this job exciting and rewarding.
What made you choose Aéroports de Paris? A brilliant presentation on Aéroports de Paris when I was a student had a strong impact on me. Because of this I applied to them for my end of study course. I was taken on as a trainee, then on a temporary contract and then, quite simply, on a permanent basis.
What was your integration into the company like?
My integration was easy, thanks to the availability of my manager and my colleagues. However, at the time, I missed the induction training for new employees which I regret, since it would have been an excellent integration tool.
You have been at Aéroports de Paris for 15 years. How do you see your future within the company?
Up until now I have enjoyed great mobility within the company and have worked in different fields such as : internal communication, human resources, quality, customer relations, etc. Since Aéroports de Paris is committed to being a service company, I would like to progress to an operational position.
