April 2006 Traffic passagers

Aéroports de Paris handled 7.2 million passengers at Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports in April, an increase of 9.3% compared with April 2005. The rise in passenger traffic was generated by an increase of 10.6% at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and a growth of 6.8% at Paris-Orly.
April 2006 traffic figures are favourably impacted by Easter break, which finished in may in 2005. Domestic traffic increased 1.2%. European passenger traffic rose by 13.7%. The 10 new European Union members' traffic increased by 15.4%. Great Britain and Ireland traffic also grew by 9.6%.
On the other international routes, traffic increased by 11.4%.
